Haiku Amateur Little Film Festival (HALF Festival) for short films  is being annually organized by INSIGHT, the creative group, an association of amateur short film makers based at Palakkad, with operations worldwide.

PRIZE STRUCTURE

Golden Screen Award:      INR.50,000/- in cash + Trophy + Certificate

5 Runner up Awards   :     INR. 5,000/- in cash + Certificate to each

Silver Screen Award:         INR.10,000/- in cash + Trophy + Certificate

 

Entry fee INR. 1000/- for Haiku Entry fee INR. 500/- for Mynoote

GUIDELINES FOR SENDING IN ENTRIES

  1. The digital file in MP4 format with sufficient resolution for projection.
  2. Properly filled up entry form with synopsis,
  3. Photo and Bio-data of director,
  4. Posters and Film Stills

All the above are to be received by Insight on or before 5 pm on 31st July, 2024.

Entry Fee:

For Category 1- ( Mynoote) : INR.500/- and for Category 2(HALF) INR. 1000/-

REGULATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  1. Any number of entries can be sent to one or both of the categories. However, each entry must come with separate entry form and entry fee.
  2. The following categories are not accepted: 1) Animation 2) Documentary 3) Music Album.
  3. There is no language bar, but for films other than in English or Malayalam, subtitle in English is compulsory.
  4. Each entry must be the original work of the entrant and shall not infringe on any copyright or any other right of any other individual, institution or organization.
  5. It is the responsibility of the entrant to obtain all necessary rights and permissions regarding all contents like story, music, etc. and all participants like scriptwriters, actors, musicians, etc.
  6. Each entrant agrees that the Organizers will not be held liable for any copyright infringement perpetrated by him/her or his/her short film/s.
  7. The Organizers reserve the right not to screen any film(s) for any reason they deem valid and their decision shall be final.
  8. The Jury will consist of eminent personalities from the film field.
  9. There will be open forum discussions after screening each film.
